About Our bbq Sauce

Our sauces date back 100 years to my grandmother and mother. As a young boy, I would watch my mother as she would handcraft her BBQ sauce, which would make you lick your finger after every bite. A decadent sauce with deep flavors and color. I can smell the aroma as I think about it. It only seemed natural that I would continue the tradition. I would whip up a batch of sauce with my eyes closed. I never thought it would be a business, even though many who encountered my sauce would make that recommendation. God has a way of getting your attention. One day sitting in my office after Bible Study, I heard the Lord say sell your sauce; I asked Him to say that again, just for clarity, "make and sell your sauce," was the response. I immediately created a logo and created the flavors we now offer. In the days that passed, it was impressed upon me to give each flavor a unique name. The Bible states in 1 Samuel 15:22b - to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. Today we have Slap Someone Sauce LLC, which will become a household name.

Each batch of sauce is handcrafted and given time and attention with the consumer in mind. Unlike your store-bought sauce, we spend the time necessary to uphold the standard of the two best cooks I have ever encountered; my mother, Barbara Ann Roberts, and grandmother, Delores Jenetta Lacey. With a blend of spices and other important ingredients, you will not be disappointed. Each flavor can stand alone in its own category, and together it is a symphony in your mouth. Any of our eleven flavors will have you returning for more, and barbecuing will be a year-round event in your home, not just in the summer months. I have eaten a lot of barbecue over the years and tasted a variety of sauces, but I must tell you mine has been the best, hands down. I know the quality that goes into making every batch, and you will come to the same conclusion!!!
